1. Empty your closets, clean them and place your clothes according to the season.

Every season the clothes you wear are different. Warm clothes in winter, lighter in autumn, spring and summer.
Empty your closet of clothes and shoes. Decide which clothes you want to keep in your closet and which ones need cleaning and storage for the next time you use them.
Thoroughly clean the closet, place some product to avoid moth on the clothes.
Arrange the clothes in order and in a way that makes it easier for you when you want to find them.
You can do the same with your drawers.

2. Wash the curtains.

Remove the curtains from their rods. Read on their label the required cleaning method and wash them according to the recommended way.
You can do the same with the shower curtain in case you have one in your bathroom.

3. Clean your carpets.

Carefully read the required washing method for each carpet according to the manufacturer’s instructions.
Use a good broom to do a deep cleaning of your carpets with either steam or liquid detergent.

4. Clean your bed mattress and the mattresses in the living room.

Use the appropriate accessories of your broom to clean your bed mattress and the mattresses in the living room.
In this way you clean all the accumulated dust in the places that you do not clean often.

5. Move electrical appliances and furniture and clean the backside and under them.

Due to the lack of time, the movement of furniture and electrical appliances and the cleaning of the space they occupy is not done often.
Spend time moving furniture such as sofas, armchairs, vitrines, television furniture, bookshelves and thoroughly clean the space they take up.
You can do the same with electrical appliances such as the refrigerator, the stove, the washing machine. Move them and thoroughly clean the space they occupy.

6. If you have children clean their toys.

Put lukewarm soapy water in a bowl and place your child’s toys.
Leave the toys for a while in soapy water to remove germs and dirt.
Rinse the toys with water. Wipe them with a towel and put them back in place.

7. Check the thermostat of the central heating of your house.

8. Check all batteries for smoke and emergency alarms.

11. Inspect your home externally for damage.
